The video special.

We've added more dates to our first ever video special - for artists, musicians, and bands!

This program is meant to help artists capture their craft on video, live off the floor — a must-have for everything from social media content, to festival submissions, fan exclusives, and promotional footage.

Our work has been featured on CBC, CTV, Amazon Music, Apple TV, and more. We're excited to bring that experience to this project, and create something beautiful.

how it works

We'll provide the venue, backline, cameras, recording gear, and crew; you bring up to four songs, ready to record, and give us your best performance on-camera. Think of these as a photographer's 'holiday-mini session', but for live music — slotting multiple acts in per day allows us to significantly cut the cost of the shoot for each individual artist. It'll be a long day for the crew, but a fun one, and we hope to see you there!

Our first and second sessions at MKONDO Studio on Jan. 10 & 11 are fully sold out. Our third session at Sonic Hall in Downtown Guelph on Jan. 25, for full band performances, has one spot remaining. We have added two new dates for solo, duo, and trio performances on Feb. 22 & 23 at Fresh Ground Café in Downtown Kitchener - save your spot now!

Full band sessions will be $900 +HST for each two hour slot

Solo/duo/trio sessions will be $500 + HST for each two hour slot

This includes:

Venue rental
Equipment (backline, camera and audio)
Crew, including camera operators, director, sound engineer
Post-production of both audio and video

Sessions will be two hours total, from load-in and setup to strike and load-out. We anticipate each act's setup and soundcheck to take ~30 minutes, allowing us an hour to capture up to four songs live off the floor.

Production will be preset before you arrive, so we'll be ready for you!

Fender Rumble 800 bass combo
Fender Tonemaster guitar amp
1x Keyboard stand
2x Guitar stands

For solo/duo sessions, we'll provide the following:

Fender Rumble 800 bass combo
Fender Tonemaster guitar amp

Yes, but you'll need to bring your own drive. It must be Solid State, at least 1TB in size.

Yes - we'll provide one mix revision per song, and you're welcome to sit in on video editing sessions in the weeks following your filming date at our office in Downtown Kitchener.
